Don't know what's up with those zebras. There was also a weird no-call in last night's men's game Villanova vs. UCLA, when Villanova was purposely fouling to get possession. Every fan in the building and watching on TV knew they were doing it and when the Villanova player gave it the typical token reach-in, right in front of a ref: no call! They managed to call the next one, somehow.

I simply couldn't believe it when I saw that. When TV showed the replay, they backed up from the action and you could see the back of the head of a ref who was faced directly at the two players. He should be fined for failing to call a flagrant foul and/or ejecting Riley.
That wasn't her only shot, either! She had also punched someone in the head/neck area (don't know if it was the same LSU player) while trying to prevent a breakaway layup--again, two players out in the open court and the refs see nothing? And they wonder why they get criticized? They're lucky nobody from LSU got hurt by that kid and TREMENDOUS credit goes to White for doing the right thing--back away and wait for the call. The call that never came.
