Interesting reading. I have always found Jordan Jones to be a player that wants to win and whatever it takes attitude. Whether that is playing injured or not. Although Marilyn you speak as if direct quotes from Ms. Jones and her reasoning for playing injured I can only state mine as observations over a period of four or five years.

I have followed many of these players Kelly Cain, Maya Moore, Jordan Jones, etc. for quite a few years and all three play a very similar game. Do whatever it takes to win. They have shown me since about middle school to be the epitome of team.

I have no doubt there are underlining factors that none of us will have insight to as to the departure of Jones and although it will be a blow for South Carolina it will most definitely be a great pick up for Florida which has had inconsistent perimeter shooting. I really like 2008 Azania Stewart the post player that was tapped as an All American this year. If they are able to pull in an all star Point Guard Florida will have a chance of going deep into the NCAA tourney very soon.

While South Carolina has at least one freshman that I will watch excitedly and that is Charenee Stephens. She has the ability to do great things in the SEC. Charenee will be a real bright spot on a team whos glow has dimmed.

As for Jones I have yet to see her rise to the top. Her dedication and work ethic I can only compare with her good friend Maya Moore. So wherever she chose good things will happen for her.
